Natural color. Soft definition. Timeless beauty.
Lip Blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances your natural lip tone, shape, and symmetry by gently implanting color pigments into the lips. This soft shading technique gives your lips a healthy, youthful tint — think “your lips but better.”
Whether you’re looking to restore lost color, add subtle fullness, correct unevenness, or just skip lipstick altogether, lip blush is a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution that delivers visible results with no downtime..
What Is Lip Blushing?
Lip blushing uses a fine tattoo machine to deposit pigment into the lips, giving them a soft, natural-looking flush that lasts up to 1–3 years. The technique creates the illusion of fuller lips, enhances your natural shape, and helps define the lip border without harsh lines.
Also known as velvet lips or aquarelle blush, this treatment is perfect for:
- Brightening pale or faded lips
- Adding balance and symmetry
- Covering scars or discoloration
- Creating a youthful, fresh look
- Reducing the need for daily lipstick

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Here’s what your 2 to 2.5 hour appointment includes:
- Check-In & Consultation – We review your goals, medical history, and help you choose the perfect color
- Shape Drawing & Color Selection – Your artist will outline the shape and tone based on your lip shape and skin tone
- Numbing – A topical anesthetic is applied for comfort
- Tattoo Process – The pigment is deposited in 3 passes using a quiet handheld device
- Aftercare & Touch-Up Plan – You’ll leave with care instructions and schedule your perfecting session in 6–8 weeks
The healing process is smooth, and discomfort is minimal — most clients say it’s easier than waxing their eyebrows!
How Long Does Lip Blush Last?
With proper care, results last 1 to 3 years.
Touch-ups are recommended every 6–12 months to refresh color or adjust tone. Since lip tissue fades faster than other areas, some fading is normal — but we’ll keep your lips looking their best.
